After church yesterday, Mr. C and I went to check out the newly-revamped Westfield Garden City. Saw a specialty chocolate store in the complex, the Noosa Chocolate Factory.
Being chocolate-lovers, we couldn't leave empty-handed! Here's our loot:
We have tried the strawberries, blueberries and goji berries so far. They're really pretty good! I don't really like the dark chocolate-enrobed strawberries though. I'm more of a milk chocolate kinda girl.
Dr. O recommended that we try the Thai food at Kinn, a new restaurant at Garden City. Kinn is located outside of the shopping mall. Westfield re-did the entire layout of the external part of Garden City, it is so beautiful now like a mini island resort.
Love the little details they included like these iridescent pool tiles. So pretty!
Anyway, we had an early dinner at Kinn. The food was pretty good, I would give it say, a 9 over 10? The ambience was really nice and the service staff were attentive and efficient. We had the chicken salad, crispy pork belly and grilled sirloin steak (only Mr. C had that as it was too gamey for me).
We also tried their coconut ice cream dessert. It came with sticky rice, jackfruit, attap seeds and sea coconut strips. This was sooooo good! Definitely worth going back for.
