Deep Fry Master (炸翻天)

After a very stressful day at work (rushed out Chapter 3 of my Ph.D thesis to hand to my supervisor for vetting and nearly lost my mind doing so), Mr. C and I headed to Sunnybank for dinner at around 7.30pm.

We had dinner at "Deep Fry Master" or 炸翻天, which when translated, literally means "fried sky flip". You get the idea. It's located just behind the main Sunnybank Market Square and looks kind of dodgy because it's quite dim, not enclosed, and is very near to car park lots.

Mr. C wanted to have their winter melon sweet tea so we decided to have dinner there as well. We ordered 2 set meals. We had set meal B which came with
(1) Stewed mince pork with half boiled egg, pickles and rice
(2) A choice of fried side dish, we chose fried chicken and fried tofu, and
(3) A choice of lime juice or winter melon sweet tea. We also order fried king oyster mushrooms.

All this cost only $20, and in Australian terms, means very cheap!

All the fried side dishes come with chilli powder sprinkled on top, so ask for less chilli powder if you can't take the heat because this chilli powder is freaking spicy! I stopped eating halfway because my lips/tongue were/was burning like hell. Mr. C enjoyed it thoroughly though. Crazy man.

Come here for your guilty fix but don't come too often, unless you want to die young.
